Gnome gjs process 100% cpu usage

Gnome GJS process is consuming 100% cpu on my arch-system.  I am running Gnome 3 XOrg with Nvidia drivers.  The GJS process constantly hovers at 100% cpu and never lets my CPU clock down.  I have a Ryzen 3900X with 64GB ram. 

The gjs process will continue to leak memory until my system runs out of RAM after a few hours.  I usually notice this issue after waking up my system from SLEEP (I do not use hibernate).
