Re: [SOLVED]Failed to start picom

Try "picom --no-vsync"

You cannot sync to the vblank interval of a virtual machine (though I guess in theory vmware could itself sync and forward the signal of the HW)

Re: [SOLVED]Failed to start picom

I tried

picom --no-vsync

return

[ 08/20/2020 17:33:51.304 get_buffer_age WARN ] GLX_EXT_buffer_age not supported by your driver,`use-damage` has to be disabled

And i tried

picom --no-vsync --no-use-damage

no return anything.

The above two,picom look likes  working,because i can't input,and when i open and close a new 'Alacritty' the terminal will output

[ 08/20/2020 17:38:42.399 win_clear_flags WARN ] Flags cleared on a destroyed window 0x010000e7 (Alacritty)

But I set "Alacritty"'s "background_opacity: 0.9",it not work
Maybe my configfile is wrong,please tell me how to test picom is running or not
