I installed pavucontrol, but when I run it I get
pavucontrol.ini: No such file or directory
All of the instructions I've read just say to install pavucontrol, there's no mention of an initialization step. Google leads to nothing useful.
Does anyone know how to set up pavucontrol.ini?
Otherwise, could someone post their pavucontrol.ini?

Try the following
sudo pacman -S pavucontrol
It will add the missing prerequisites and configure settings for you.
