Arch installation does not recognize SSD

Dear all,

I am trying to have a dual installation (Arch and Windows), and I do want to install arch on the SSD. However lsblk, fdisk -l and  nvme list does not list anything. The SSD works normally under Windows (Windows is installed on HDD). Under windows the SSD appears under System Information as such:

NVMe WDC PC SN530 SDB

to which google informed me as: Western Digital PC SN530 NVMe SSD

How can I make the Arch media recognize the SSD ? Any workaround?

Thanks in advance !

P.S.
A quick update. The SSD is recognized normally in the BIOS and I also tried a complete shutdown of windows before I boot from the Arch USB installation medium...still no luck.

Re: Arch installation does not recognize SSD

Some laptop configurations are having some kind of raid. Make sure your drives are only in ahci mode. Beware because if you change it, your windows installation might not work properly.
