Focused windows not updated properly in dwm

I've just recently installed Arch for the first time and decided to use dwm as my window manager.
Everything is going well except that some windows aren't updated when in focus. So far I only had that problem with Firefox and Texstudio, all other applications seem to work just fine.
When I use Firefox and move my cursor, I can see it moving, but the window rendering doesn't update. So for instance, when I hover over a bookmark in my toolbar, it is supposed to be highlighted and open when I click on it, but it isn't. However, the problem is not that firefox doesn't process my cursor, because as soon as I put the window out of focus, it updates and properly displays what it is supposed to display. The same happens when I enter keyboard input, or when watching a video. Normally the window is updated on its own, but it usually takes up to a second to do so, which makes the experience pretty bad. One other thing that seems to work is is switching to the tag my browser and my view is on already, which also seems to update the view.
The problem is that I really don't know where to start. Reinstalling the packages hasn't helped, rebuilding dwm hasn't helped and I'm not sure what the problem might be.
I hope someone has any clue what I could do to fix this.

What's the graphics chip? If anything intel, and you have xf86-video-intel installed, try removing xf86-video-intel

Well, that was easier than expected, thank you so much big_smile
What's up with the driver, is it buggy or just incompatible?
