Graphic artefacts followed by freeze with new GPU

Hello,

i added a new GPU (RX570) to my system and now i get from time to time graphic artifacts followed by a freeze. I used the integrated GPU from my CPU before without any issues.

My System:
AMD Ryzen 3 2200g
Sapphire rx570 pulse 8 GB

I dont know what to do exactly, i tried to disable the discrete GPU so that i can use my integrated GPU but i was not able to.
I would also prefer to use my new GPU.

GPU driver:

Re: Graphic artefacts followed by freeze with new GPU

Does you screen turns pink before crashing? Does the screen reset? I'm having an issue with  my RX560. I  posted the issue here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=258483

I'm watching your thread for possible solution.

Re: Graphic artefacts followed by freeze with new GPU

Exact same problem here with RX580. Did you found any solution?

Re: Graphic artefacts followed by freeze with new GPU

Also same issue RX570
Current workaround, not solution, is to use a 4.X kernel.

Re: Graphic artefacts followed by freeze with new GPU

I cannot make my wifi (intel ax200) work in the 4.X kernel. Manjaro is awesome but because of this I cannot rely on it much. Not sure what to do next really sad

Well, you are welcome to try Arch Linux.
