Xorg session does not display tty after exiting

I have a problem where I load a desktop session with no display manager, it always worked with no problem at all, until some weeks ago I couldn't see the TTY after exiting the session with Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. I can still use the terminal at this point, so it is there, only  it's not being displayed to the screen (If i type the command to start another X session, press enter, type my password, press enter, display returns for X.) If I start an X session, the TTY only can be seen again after a reboot. I have no idea what could be causing it. If anyone has any thoughts it would be appreciated, thank you.

Re: Xorg session does not display tty after exiting

I has a weird behavior like that 2 months ago, where I had to change the tty twice in order to render it for some reason, then it vanished without trace...

Does the tty appears if you change twice?
Like ctrl alt F2 and next ctrl alt F3?

Also post xorg logs, video driver setup and xinitrc just in case they are relevant...
