Hi all,
having some struggles with the nvidia drivers recently.
Since the upgrade from 440.100 -> 450.57 and above, any USB-C connected screen refuses to operate due to a wrong input frequency.
Downgrading to 440.100 resolves the issue.

Device: Lenovo P53
Displays:
- Dell U2715H, HDMI connection, 2560x1440@60Hz
- Dell P2720D, USB-C to HDMI adapter, 2560@1440@60Hz
Graphics cards:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation UHD Graphics 630 (Mobile)
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation TU117GLM [Quadro T1000 Mobile] (rev a1)This definitely seems USB-C related, because when I connect the working U2715H using USB-C, it also refuses to operate, while the P2720D works just fine when on HDMI.
Setting any resolution lower than 2560x1440 also makes the screen work, however this is not really an option.
As a workaround, I so far manually downgraded my drivers to nvidia-dkms v440.100.
With the latest kernel upgrade (5.8.5-arch1-1) this however fails, apparently this driver version cannot be built with this kernel anymore:
