[SOLVED] Problem with LXQT Quicklaunch

Hello Guys,

This is my first time writing on the forum, so pardon me for any issue with the framing of the problem. I  install Arch with LXQT and I am trying to drag and drop apps into the quick launch, but it seems that it doesn't drag and drop for some reason. How can I fix that?

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with LXQT Quicklaunch

Hi, where did you drag the icon from? There is a known issue that dragging an icon from the main menu to the quicklaunch area does not work due to a Qt 5.15 bug [1].

Thank you.
That's exactly what I was talking about. I didn't know it's a known issue.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with LXQT Quicklaunch

Open /usr/share/applications in the filemanager, from there you can drag the apps to the quick launch.

Re: [SOLVED] Problem with LXQT Quicklaunch

This was fixed yesterday in Qt 5.15.1. I tested qt5-base (and the other 5 qt5-* packages in my LXQt system) yesterday from the testing repo:
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/test … /qt5-base/

Fwiw, the release notes with link to full list of 5.15.1 fixes:
