Microphone becomes high pitched during operation

Hi,

my microphone becomes high pitched during operation.
I am using Discord and Teamspeak and randomly at some point I sound like mikey mouse to others.
Could it be that the sample rate changes while operating my soundcard / mic?
Anyway I need a solution to fix this, because it happens several times a day which makes it very annoying.
Sometimes the problem goes away after closing teamspeak AND discord and starting both applications again.
But on other times a full restart of the computer is necessary.

The problem occurs on my external sound interface:
Bus 001 Device 008: ID 0499:1501 Yamaha Corp. Steinberg CI1
