Multi-gpu multi-monitor system xorg/display issues

Hello!

I have 3 monitors and 2 GPUs. I got a rx 5700xt (mesa) and a rtx 2060 super (nvidia). I want my main monitor to be running off my 5700xt and my 2 secondary monitors to be running off my 2060.
Ive gotten to the point where xorg has all the monitors setup in the way I want, but the 2 secondary monitors are not displaying anything but a black screen. I am able to move things off my main screen and onto the other screens, but nothing is displayed. The monitors are on and detecting, but they are just displaying black.
Any idea how to fix this? I've been working on it for 2 days now and I've finally realized its above my skill and research level.

Re: Multi-gpu multi-monitor system xorg/display issues

Context to this is i was attempting to do sli/crossfire with both cards before i realized thats dumb and you cant do that, so i decided i could just use the 2060 for my secondary monitors and use the 5700xt on my main monitor. i want to get the most possible performance out of the 5700xt, so having it render only one monitor should help.

https://termbin.com/1lmr dmesg. just remembered it existed.

nvidia 0000:21:00.0: cannot be used for peer-to-peer DMA as the client and provider (0000:2d:00.0) do not share an upstream bridge or whitelisted host bridge

that doesn't look good.

Re: Multi-gpu multi-monitor system xorg/display issues

It seems the X server can only be rendered on one or the other. I can either render the the middle screen (5700XT) or the secondaries (2060S). does anyone know of a way to render both?

Please edit rather than bump your post if you want to add new information.

I assume (though no hands on knowledge/experience) you should be able to do is start two distinct xorg servers that can't interact with each other beyond where your mouse/keyboard focus is and then make that dependant on where which program runs on
