Neofetch not autostart after reboot

Hey
I have tried to make neofetch start every time termite opens but couldn't resolve and searched too much articles all comes with same answers which is adding it to .bashrc and i did add it to, but still not working.
Should i add to bspwm config file or sxhkd config file?
Iam using bspwm with polybar.

Re: Neofetch not autostart after reboot

Try making an motd script that calls neofetch and placing the script in profile.d.

Re: Neofetch not autostart after reboot

Create a script and call it motd-banner.sh or similar and in the script just simply call neofetch:

#!/bin/bash
neofetch

And place the script in profile.d, sudo chmod +x the script to enable execution.
motd is 'message of the day' so you can add other messages you fancy in the script.
I assume the simple neofetch command is sufficient, but use whatever command you use in the regular terminal to call it.

Edit: I always meant /etc/profile.d

Re: Neofetch not autostart after reboot

Rename the file as motd-banner.sh. This could be a naming scheme.

Edit: Does /etc/motd exists in your system?

Didn't work changing the name.

It was exist when you first told me to create modt script and it was empty, but now its not exist.

Re: Neofetch not autostart after reboot

It seems like your /etc/motd was a symlink. Can you try recreating one i.e. sudo touch /etc/motd and try again?
Also can you post your /etc/pam.d/system-login?
