Video and USB signal failure

I am having trouble pinpointing what exactly is happening. Under medium to heavy load (gaming and some video) on the GPU the monitor and USB devices lose signal or disconnect. The screen will go black and then the monitor will show that it has been disconnected. The signal will eventually resume. This has happened a few times before over the last several years but it now has become annoying to point that I am trying to figure out exactly what is happening. I am using a USB headphone am but when the event occurs with gaming the sound still plays and the game continues (So no USB disconnect?!). Recently it happened on a YouTube video but that was a very rare occurrence.

I have no overclock or over volt set on any of the components.

Motherboard: Asrock ab350 Pro 4
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: XFX AMD RX 580
Memory: Corsair 16GB 3000Mhz
PSU: Corsair RM750x
Monitor: ASUS 1440p 144Mhz

WM: Sway with xwayland

uname -a

Linux xxxx 5.8.8-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed, 09 Sep 2020 18:59:45 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

At time of occurrence dmesg and journctl does not show anything relevant to the gpu losing power but does show that usb disconnects. Can I enable a more verbose output?

Re: Video and USB signal failure

Full dmesg / journal output please (use a pastebin client )

Also

$ lspci -k
$ lsusb -tv

Do things improve if you boot with usbcore.autosuspend=-1  as kernel boot parameter ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

Re: Video and USB signal failure

Edit: forgot journctl

As requested.

I reproduced the signal loss again today but I have removed the USB device. See update.

dmesg with signal loss (nothing stands out to me about video signal loss)

journctl -b

dmesg

lspci -k

lsusb -tv

Update:

So I have isolated the USB device that was disconnecting during the signal failure and it was the built in hub from the monitor. I disconnected that and then again reproduced the signal loss. So now there there is no loss of signal to any USB device but the signal loss to the monitor remains. I am thinking that this issue has to do with GPU and monitor sync.

A little more information:

I am gaming at 2560x1440p@144Hz. This was working about a month ago but now it is struggling to open any of the demanding games that I am playing.

It will lose signal in the menu with some; Halo MCC, GTA5.
Without Steam or Proton it happens under the Godot Engine (Third Person Demo).

I have tired reduced the refresh rate to 120Hz under Sway config but it still struggles.  If I enable Freesync on the monitor this reduces the refresh rate to 60Hz and this enables me to get into some of the menu. All of this was working (better) about a month ago.
