Drag and drop from application menu doesn't work in lxqt

Using lxqt latest (lxqt-session 0.15.0-1, pcmanfm-qt 0.15.1), there is no drag and drop or right click functionality when clicking or dragging an application from the application menu.
This functionality exists upstream, and works in other distors out of the box, including Manjaro. It has never worked for me on Arch, in various attempts over the years.

It worked for me before I updated the kernel or other programs

upgrade kernel to 5.8.8 or above fixed the problem
