ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

I  am trying to make custom Archiso with some packages but got an error  "duplicate target" on ArchLinux.
I have pasted the output from terminal and also attached images of terminal.
Please help to sort it out.

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

This looks more like a blackarch system than an Arch system.

But this is Arch Linux not BlackArch
I am trying to make custom ISO with Arch Base and some Penetration Testing Software & Tools.
And got this error because some tools are available in both Repositories.

Yes I was doing that before with Arcolinux but moderator deleted my post and said it was Arcolinux but this time it is ArchLinux

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

Then why did you add the arcolinux and blackarch repositories to you new installation before trying to make the ISO?

Because I want some tools from both Repositories.

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

Seems pretty clear that the OP is lying to us.

Anyway, yeah, blackarch fucks a lot of things up. This isn't news to anyone.

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

Copy the packages you need from blackarch to a Custom_local_repository then disable the blackarch repositories while building the ISO.
Edit:
Please also see Code_of_conduct#Pasting_pictures_and_code.

nice, then how we will get blackarch repo enabled in live iso to install more tools. isn't it possible to put both in the iso?

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

sp22 can you can create a package list that does not create a duplicate target error with the repositories enabled?

Isn’t it better to make a custom AUR repo and build what you want rather than including an external repo that’s broken?

What is the difference with ${spinoff} repo?

well, I can try that as well, but when it comes to updates, it would be a lot of work to update such a big AUR repo or if there would be a possible way to automate this process.

Re: ArchIso error "duplicate targets" on ARCHLINUX

If the number of packages used from the arch repositories is less than the black repositories you could package those instead.
Edit:
Or edit archiso https://gitlab.archlinux.org/archlinux/ … chiso#L205 and add -i to make it interactive.

I know there are always multiple ways to do something, but I want the flexibility to install tools from blackarch repo as we already know that AUR repos made by someone we don't know are something that we can't trust forever.
