Good morning everyone,
just this morning i updated vulkan-icd-loader (1.2.151-1 -> 1.2.153-1) and vulkan-headers (1:1.2.152-1 -> 1:1.2.153-1) and games running with steams proton stopped working.
They crashed immediately after launch. I tried different version of proton, gnome with xorg and wayland as well as both icd loader amd_icd64.json and radeon_icd.x86_64.json.
I also removed gamemoderun from my start options and enabled and disabled aoc.
The only way i found to resolve this issue was a downgrade to the previous version of these two packages.
best regards
//edit - the issue has been resolved through updated files

proton depends on vulkan-headers, you have (re-)build proton against the new version of vulkan-headers ?
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)

No i have not rebuild proton. I'm using the supplied binary from steam and tried the binary for the GE version from AUR.
Later i'll try to use the git version of GE and try building it.

Seeing this as well, as of this morning.
Most recent update to vulkan-icd-loader resolves the issue.

EDIT: Seems like vulkan-icd-loader as well as lib32-vulkan-icd-loader has just been updated with the commit that fixes the issue. I'm not getting any more issues.
