Greetings,
I recently updated DDE on my desktop and I noticed that when it started, only the cursor and wallpaper would show up. I thought this might have been an issue specifically with my desktop, so I went ahead and decided to see if my laptop would run into the same problem as well. It did.
None of the hotkeys work, although I am able to drop into a tty.
It doesn't matter if I start it from startx or lightdm.
Also, the greeter for DDE on LightDM has been buggy, at least aesthetically, ever since the update from the 15.11 desktop to the beta 20 desktop.
Is there any good way to downgrade DDE 20 beta back to DDE 15.11 (without having to run literally 47 downgrade commands)?
Should I just wait for these issues to be fixed and use a different DE?

It seems the issue with the desktop was a strange display issue that was fixed by switching from a different output and back.
Unfortunately, this still doesn't explain the laptop issue.

Something seems missing in the deepin package group. I have traced it down to this error:

Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped)I checked in gsettings are there is no setting for brightness-enable. I think some of the packages in the deepin group are not up to date with v 20 and are missing info causing it to behave erratically.
