Hi! , I have been struggling with the same issue for about one month approximately, since Kernel 5.7.X, I don't remember well. I tried a lot of things, even downgrading the kernel, but nothing worked. However, I have found the apparent reason, and some workarrounds here: Manjaro Forums .
I just ran:
sudo vim /etc/modprobe.d/alsa.conf
Then added:
options snd-hda-intel model=dell-headset-multi
Save and poweroff the machine, DO NOT REBOOT (according to the forum thread), so I did it, and it is working again. It's a temporary solution, so, consider commenting the line in the file, or moving it to another folder when upgrading the Kernel to verify if the issue is solved without the need of additional workarrounds.
Best regards.
