I performed an system update while in an xmonad( AUR xmonad-git ) session. Stupidly, I did not perform a reboot. I couldn't update my xmonad-git (otherwise it wouldn't compile), so I installed xmonad and xmonad-contrib replacing the AUR packages. I even recompiled it, and it ran alright. I was developing with flutter on my machine, and the xmonad session went all weird, I was able to move my cursor, but none of my keybindings received responses. So, I assumed it was due to the humungous amount of resources being used, so I hot-restarted my machine. None of my configs loaded properly upon the restart. So I checked my file manager, and all of my home directory "files" were gone but all my folders still exist. Interstingly enough, all my root files still exist, which is why I am able to run programs. But my home directory is empty (except for the folders). Can I recover those stuff? I am a 15-year old noob, so I don't know where I can find any of the logs. Please help me...
