Much Higher CPU Usage no Firefox Than Chromium-based Browsers?

I have noticed that when I use Firefox my CPU usage is much higher than with Chromium-based browsers like Vivaldi, even though I have more active extensions on Vivaldi. I used this web-based benchmark: https://web.basemark.com/ and I noticed upticks in GPU usage through the various tests on both browsers on all settings. With the setting "Use hardware acceleration when available" on Firefox I got a score of 894.06, 963.33 with "Use recommended performance settings" enabled on Firefox, and 1471.86 with "Use Hardware Acceleration When Available" on Vivaldi. Why is the Vivaldi score so much higher? Is it possible that Firefox is expecting different GPU drivers than Chromium-based browsers? I have dedicated RX 5700 GPU. Are there certain settings that need to be enabled in Firefox to get comparable performance to Chromium-based browsers?
