For some reason my konqueror isn't able to load the mplayer plugin while the Firefox runs it smoothly... anyone encountered that problem before...
I tried to install kaffeine but for some reason it didn't install even after I changed the files it said were conflicting...
thank you

these files are probably now part of the new kde 3.2.1 ... i will investigate this and modify kaffeine
if you cannot wait, you can force the installation of kaffeine using "pacman -Sf kaffeine"

ok, now i know for sure:
these files are now part of kde itself and kaffeine 0.4.2 do not longer has these
i updated kaffeine some seconds ago to 0.4.2
enjoy

Thanks a lot DP, it installed without a problem :-)
But I still can't play quicktime movies... I go to the apple website and the movies don't play. I changed the KDE settings to use Kaffeine with quicktime and also enabled the plugin...
any Idea?

i found out that it's something more deep than kaffeine or even xine ... it's maybe the codecs or the combination of the xine-lib version with the codecs version
