[SOLVED] Slow download, high upload speeds

Hi,

For the last couple of days I've been experiencing unusually slow download speeds, but my upload speeds remain much higher. This applies to both wifi access via the router (Deutsche Telekom Speedport) and mobile data via USB tethering, but not mobile data via a hotspot.

Possibly relevant outputs:

Slightly complicated because it's not my provider, but my in-laws'. If that's likely to be the source, of course I will, but I thought the fact I see the same pattern in mobile data + USB tethering and wifi + router, but not in mobile data + hotspot, meant it was likely to be an issue with my computer.

Internet for other computers in the house is according to reports not great, but not as poor as what I'm experiencing.

Re: [SOLVED] Slow download, high upload speeds

I would do a ethernet speedtest first. connect enp9s0 through ethernet cable to the router and speedtest again.

Re: [SOLVED] Slow download, high upload speeds

I'll put that on my shopping list for tomorrow, and see if it's any better. Thanks!

ETA: Factory reset of the router fixed that part of the issue; the USB tethering aspect remains a mystery to me, but as it's no longer necessary, and it seems this isn't an arch issue after all, I'll mark it as solved. Thanks for the suggestions and taking the time to help.
