Arch linux xfce unresponsive

So I recently installed and configured my arch linux setup with xfce desktop environment and lightdm display manager. In 3 days, my arch froze twice and I have no idea why. The mouse cursor works fine like you move your mouse it works, but I can't click on anything. No click works, no application can be opened or  closed. Even keyboard shortcuts to open up terminal doesn't work. Though I was able to bring up the tty shell or whatever it is called by Ctrl + Alt + F3 + F4. But I was unable to run the command startxfce4 as it was already running. So should I restart X? I don't know actually what is causing problems. If anybody is familiar with this issue kindly help me. My package repositories are all updated as of now. Any help of how I may diagnose the issue would be very much appreciated. I know I didn't post the journal. But I rebooted, so journalctl -xe didn't return the logs before the reboot. I know these questions may be stupid to some of the advanced users out there. But I am an amateur as of now, so please help me figure this out.

Re: Arch linux xfce unresponsive

Welcome to the boards

The journal retains logs before the current boot, that's in fact one of the main purposes of its existence, use and post

sudo journalctl -b-1

after a crash and subsequent reboot. In general this needs more information on your hardware, what's your graphics card which driver did you install, maybe also post a xorg log

Post these in [ code ] [ /code ] tags without the spaces or use a pastebin
