Hey all, I've switched from Win to Arch 9 months ago and am fairly happy with the results. I've managed to solve many/most quirks I encountered during setup and personal prefences. However I've been combatting one specific problem I can't manage to defeat. I really need help here
Problem:
When resuming Arch from sleep mode the system hangs/freezes. In the beginning it was a little better where I'd be able to swtich to CTRL+ALT+F2 / CTRL+ALT+F3 tty's and restart KDE. The problem is pretty much exactly like here:
[Solved] Random Freezes and Compositor Crashing with nvidia 450.57
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=257327&p=3
However these users start reporting way better results now with newer nvidia driver, whereas my system has to be constantly restarted by hand
I don't think the full computer is freezing, it's something with the detection/output of the correct monitor maybe? I see the HDD LED blink in random non-pattern ways like a normal PC returns from resume.
I do not have gear here to SSH into the machine unfortunatly
Please help! Thanks ALOT!!!!

Can you post a log of when the freeze actually happens? Otherwise we will only be guessing.
