Simple System Monitor Plasmoid in Plasma not showing CPU temp AMD

I am running Arch Linux up to date in an HP Envy x360 15-ee0002na laptop that has a Ryzen 7 4700U CPU, which runs in general very well.  The Plasma desktop runs fine, but the plasmoid for a Simple System Monitor fails to show the CPU temperature, even though it shows all the other parameters normally.  The sensors command does show the Tctl and Tdie so the data is available, but the plasmoid is not reading the available temperature data.

The sensors output is below and the k10temp-pci-00c3 temperatures are output and normal:

$ sensors
ucsi_source_psy_USBC000:001-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
in0: 0.00 V (min = +0.00 V, max = +0.00 V)
curr1: 0.00 A (max = +0.00 A)

k10temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
Tctl: +51.4°C
Tdie: +51.4°C

amdgpu-pci-0400
Adapter: PCI adapter
vddgfx: N/A
vddnb: N/A
edge: +38.0°C (crit = +0.0°C, hyst = +0.0°C)

acpitz-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
temp1: +53.0°C (crit = +226.8°C)
temp2: +20.0°C

BAT1-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
in0: 13.00 V

nvme-pci-0300
Adapter: PCI adapter
Composite: +26.9°C (low = -0.1°C, high = +76.8°C)
                       (crit = +79.8°C)

I have tried to find if there are any more recent versions than in the stable repos and in the issues reported at https://github.com/dhabyx/plasma-simple … /issues/49 there is a link to version 0,7 of the Simple System Monitor, whereas the one that is available by adding a widget and downloading a new version gives version 0.6.  I have tried version 0.7 and it still doesn't show core temp.  So presumably the more recent Ryzen 7 CPU needs some modification to the code for the plasmoid.

Does anyone know if there is a more recent version of this plasmoid that will show the Ryzen 7 4700U temperature(s), or if there is a work around to edit the files for this plasmoid to get it to work for this recent CPU?
