I want to use Firefox Developer Edition (instead of release version of Firefox) as my default browser,
but Firefox Developer Edition doesn't appear as web browser on GNOME Default Applications settings.
I compared desktop entry for both edition, but it seems there's nothing useful.
Is there a way to make Firefox Developer Edition recognized as web browser?

This works for me. Did you install firefox-developer-edition from Arch repos?
You should also be able to set the browser as default from Firefox's preferences.

Thanks! I did set Firefox developer edition to default browser from Firefox's preference.
(It is wonder that GNOME's settings didn't work despite I installed Firefox in the same way as you did.)
