I assume that this is config file. (it's in my ~/.config directory) but I don't know why it was created. I look into my config directory pretty often to keep it clean. I didn't use volume control application for a very long time. I usually use hardware buttons.
Inside this file there is:
[window]
width=500
height=400
sinkInputType=1
sourceOutputType=1
sinkType=0
sourceType=1
showVolumeMeters=1I don't like unnecessary files so can I delete it?

It's a configuration file for the pavucontrol GUI. Yes you can remove it if you don't use it but pavucontrol will recreate it when you open it. What are you unsure about here exactly?

When I tried tried to find pavucontrol.ini in duckduckgo first match was on our forum but the post was from 2011
pavucontrol.ini: No such file or directory
It's very old post without answer. I didn't want to delete something and then ask how to undo the damage.
