[SOLVED] Mouse offset [Gnome]

When I log in with gnome (GNOME Shell 3.38.1) I have that my mouse shows an offset.
For example, I cannot touch the left side of my screen with it.
I can also see that before logging into my gnome session the mouse is rightly aligned.

Even stranger when I press with the middle button of the mouse it now shows two cursor (one with the correct position).
The second cursor disappear as soon as I move the mouse.

My xinitrc file just contains `exec gnome-session`

Any idea on how to solve this problem?

Re: [SOLVED] Mouse offset [Gnome]

By looking at the output of journalctl I found out that all of it was due to an extension.
After unistalling Soft brightness everything went back to normal.

Re: [SOLVED] Mouse offset [Gnome]

I found that going to the settings for the Soft Brightness extension, and switching off the "Mouse cursor brightness control" setting also solved the mouse offset issue, whilst allowing me to leave the extension enabled.
