issue with kernel 5.9.1

so when i upgraded to the latest kernel v5.9.1, the desktop colors was all messed up and the font is totally unreadable. it almost seems like something is wrong with compatibility with my graphics card and the newest kernel. i made a video showing what it looks like and uploaded it to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EogD-1fr7yg it's easier than me trying to explain what it looks like. i downloaded the lts kernel for now because this is a new arch linux installation so i couldn't just downgrade. i have an intel core i3-7100U 8 GB RAM and intel HD graphics 620 card. it's a laptop btw. thanks in advance for the help!

Re: issue with kernel 5.9.1

I've seen a few people where enabling early KMS helped with a similar problem: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ke … _KMS_start
