how to change something on installation CD?

I want to change kernel which boots installer.
Where can I read how to do it?

you could try archboot, there you can change the booting kernel, it's not yet documencted the install message is the only thing i have written atm.

Could you write just what archboot can be used for?
Is it a tool to create bootable CD? Or to create CD with an installer?
Could you write any example how to use it or point me to such example?

can be used for both, just install it and then read the isntall message and then the config files, it should explain how it works
