[SOLVED] Regarding Kernel update

So I ran sudo pacman -Syu, then the system asked me if I want to install Linux 5.9.2.

So before I did that, I installed timeshift first to backup my system. And then I installed Linux 5.9.2 from Linux 5.9.1. My question is, do I need to run

grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

everytime I update the Linux kernel?

Re: [SOLVED] Regarding Kernel update

Grub expects to find a hard-coded entry, named /boot/initramfs-linux.img.  Kernel packages on Arch simply overwrite that image file on install via a pacman hook (90-mkinitcpio-install.hook).  So no need to regen it.
