Can't uninstall apps from Software + is flahub the def.repo in Arch?

Hi all,

Today is my first day with Arch (gnome) and I have 2 questions hope to find help with:

1- I am not able to uninstall any app throw Software store, like Boxes for example, when I click remove nothing happen, also if I search for the same app I find it as not installed in my system, if I click install it will start downloading.

2- Does Arch has it's own software repo? in my Software settings I see only flahub repo (dl.flathub.org/repo/) and I hope to use the official repo of Arch.

Best Regards

Let's assume OP followed WorMzy's earlier advise (see dustbin) and followed the installation guide.

1. gnome software center is not very useful on archlinux .

2, While you can use flatpak on archlinux it's not needed often.

archlinux does have its own official repos managed with pacman, and there's also the AUR.

I suggest you read
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pacman
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Of … positories

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Thanks @Lone_Wolf yes I followed WorMzy's advise and the installation was easy, just replaced /sda1 with /nvme0n1 and everything went smooth, thanks for your help also now I start to understand Arch better, I still have one problem with my BCM wifi and will start a new topic for it.

Best Regards
