[solved] Dual boot on Mac Catalina - Partitioning

The command

# fdisk -l

only shows me the Live Usb system, but not the HD of the mac system.

This wikipage states

Warning: If your OS X partition is encrypted with FileVault 2, you must disable the disk encryption before proceeding. After the OS X partition has been resized, FileVault 2 can be re-enabled.

but on the Catalina system under Preferences it shows me that FileVault is not active.

What could be the reason that I do not see the HD from the Arch Linux Live System?

Re: [solved] Dual boot on Mac Catalina - Partitioning

Updating the live-USB-arch from 2016 to 2020 solved the issue. Maybe it was related with apple's file system APFS which was not well integrated in the 2016 live medium
