Hi, I have a computer (81SX0008MX Legion Y540-15IRH) that uses the NVIDIA Optimus technology.
I have trouble making autorandr work when enabling "Switchable Graphics" in the firmware settings menu. When "Discrete Graphics" is selected instead autorandr works fine. I have set the early DRM kernel mode setting as described here which autorandr requires (described here).
Does somebody know how to solve this? Maybe it is not possible for autorandr to work when using "Switchable Graphics"? In that case are there alternative solutions?
Any help is much appreciated.
Edit:
I have just tested autorandr again and realized that I can only make autorandr work by using the late DRM kernel mode setting (nvidia-drm.modeset=1 kernel parameter) while using "Discrete Graphics". It does not work when using the early DRM kernel mode setting (which I need in order to avoid screen tearing - see here). Is it possible to use autorandr with "Switchable Graphics" and the early DRM kernel mode setting?

I have noticed that when I have "Switchable Graphics" enabled and the early DRM kernel mode setting, then autorandr does detect when I plug in my DisplayPort cable and plug it out again (I can see this by running autorandr --detected). But the displays do not get switched. Using xrandr manually to switch displays does work though.
