I've been reading all of the available information about Bluetooth debugging over the last couple of days, all for naught.
I have a pair of Bluetooth headphones that worked great up until about a week or two ago. Now they pair and connect successfully. They are not muted, volume is up, etc. but no sound. The only time I get any sound through them is when I change the audio profile (through pavucontrol) from h2dp-sbc to h2dp-aac and vice versa. When I change the profile, I get a small blip of sound, then nothing, I change the profile again, another small blip, then nothing.
I have tried reinstalling bluez, disabling and re-enabling btusb, downgrading my kernel, then restoring all packages to well before the problem started when that didn't work. Same problem with a different pair of Bluetooth headphones, both pairs of headphones work well with my phone.
