I recently got a thinkpad w510 and have almost all of the functionality that I need but whenever I close the laptop lid or initiate sleep while an xorg session is running (sleep works when in console) i have to hard reset. I found an old post about such an issue but it was from 6 years ago and due to issues with a new kernel. any help would be great.
