Lib problem after last update

Updated Arch64 system yesterday and could not run lilo (which was updated). Error "libdevmapper.so.1.02 cannot open shared object file; no such file or directory".  I'm sure I can rescue boot back in with my AL64 CD but where would I get this file?  This is a new one for me, anybody got any ideas what might be causing the problem and a possible fix would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Lib problem after last update

SOLVED!!!  Thanks again espo!  Reinstalled device-mapper (wasn't listed on my system) and ran lilo w/o any problems.  I don't understand what would have wiped that off my system but then I'm not certain it was on there to begin with.

Re: Lib problem after last update

I had the same problem, seems like a missing dependency in the new lilo pkg.

Thanks.
