[SOLVED]Nvidia driver 455.45 compatibility with kernel 5.9.10

Hello everyone.

On Arch Linux news page were some words that "nvidia 455.28 is incompatible with linux >= 5.9".

However, i heard that in newer version problem nvidia driver with OpenCL was fixed. But there is no news on nvidia forum and arch linux news page and this post still exists https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/n … 5-9/157263

Can update my system? Or OpenCL still no works?

I've seen Nvidia's announcement a couple of months ago that they will support Linux again, we just need to use the lts kernel for a while!

That has been fixed in 455.38 you can safely update: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/68312
