Hi, there has been this issue with GPG that has been bothering me quite a bit lately.
Whenever a GPG key needs to be added (for example when installing packages from the AUR via yay but not limited to it), the process always fails. However, when I invoke the gpg command directly from the command line, it imports the key needed without a hitch. So I'm thinking there has to be something wrong with my system, there's just no other alternative I can see.
Is there any difference when gpg is invoked from the command-line, rather than from a program like yay ?
Sorry for the kind of broad question, but I'm at a bit of a loss.

Please check if makepkg has the same issue.
Also check https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=260786 , it could be the same issue as yours.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
