Please add a package for hostapd (http://hostap.epitest.fi/hostapd/)
It's a server to secure a linux wlan access point with WPA.
I've made a PKGBUILD, but downloads madwifi to support even atheros access points. I think that's not realy nice. (I can post it if you need it)

As I said before: this is not the best way to build hostapd, but it works:
PKGBUILD
pkgname=hostapd
pkgver=0.4.9
pkgrel=1
pkgdesc="hostapd is a user space daemon for access point and authentication servers"
url="http://hostap.epitest.fi/hostapd/"
license="GPL"
depends=()
makedepends=()
conflicts=()
replaces=()
backup=()
install=
source=(http://hostap.epitest.fi/releases/$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz
http://heanet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/madwifi/madwifi-0.9.1.tar.gz
defconfig)
md5sums=()
build() {
cp defconfig $startdir/src/$pkgname-$pkgver/.config
cd $startdir
tar xzf madwifi-0.9.1.tar.gz
cd src/$pkgname-$pkgver
make || return 1
mkdir -p ../../pkg/etc/hostapd ../../pkg/usr/bin
cp hostapd.accept ../../pkg/etc/hostapd
cp hostapd.conf ../../pkg/etc/hostapd
cp hostapd.deny ../../pkg/etc/hostapd
cp hostapd.wpa_psk ../../pkg/etc/hostapd
cp hostapd ../../pkg/usr/bin
cp hostapd_cli ../../pkg/usr/bin
}
and defconfig
# Example hostapd build time configuration
#
# This file lists the configuration options that are used when building the
# hostapd binary. All lines starting with # are ignored. Configuration option
# lines must be commented out complete, if they are not to be included, i.e.,
# just setting VARIABLE=n is not disabling that variable.
#
# This file is included in Makefile, so variables like CFLAGS and LIBS can also
# be modified from here. In most cass, these lines should use += in order not
# to override previous values of the variables.

By the way: hostapd works great!
