Hi,
I have a Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 (9365) running Arch with kernel version 5.9.11-arch2-1. I'm trying to connect 2 external Asus ProArt PA248Q monitors, I have them connected to the thunderbolt port with a i-tec USB-C to Dual Display Port Video Adapter .
xrandr detects both external displays as DP1-1 and DP1-2 and the laptop display as eDP1 but I can only get output on one of the external displays even with the internal display disabled. Manually enabling the second external display gives a CRTC error and when manually setting the value does nothing.

combined X.Org X11 Protocol headersI'm not really sure where to even begin looking for the issue since I've never had display related issues before. I am currently running XFCE4 but i wouldn't think that is the source of the issues. The Dell website does list a newer BIOS (version 2.12.1) for the device than LVFS lists (version 2.3.1) and I believe I'm running a BIOS somewhere between the 2 versions.

I have pretty much the same issue with my XPS 13 7390. I'm trying to run two external monitors at 2560x1440@60hz with an adapter.
Previously I ran this exact setup in Ubuntu 20.04 and it worked fine so it can't be a hardware issue.
I can run the screens at 1080p or one at a time at 1440p. I can't even run one of them on 1080p and the other at 1440p.
My guess is it's a driver issue. I'm running the xf86-video-intel driver. And I've tried this using the 5.4, 5.9 and 5.10 kernels.
Wayland is not an option for two reasons, it’s alpha grade software that lacks many features and I’m running DWM which doesn’t support Wayland.
