A user, jonathon, kindly reminds me that I should not include original sources in an AUR repo see https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/xcur … ral%2B%2B/
I realise this is not in the AUR spirit, but the included file is quite small.
I can download the required file by hand using a browser, but the links all seem to fail when used with curl / wget
108142-Neutral++-1.0.3.tar.xz has link
https://www.gnome-look.org/p/999941/sta … size=43751
the output of using the above is an html page not the wanted tar file.
Anyone know how to go through the twisty download sequence?

That's right, don't upload sources to the AUR.
Because it doesn't seem possible to download the sources in an automated fashion (not that I tried too hard to find a way), there are two options I can think of. 1) set the `sources` array to "local://Neutral++1.0.3.tar.xz" and instruct the user to download the sources manually. 2) Try to contact the author so you or he upload the file to github/gitlab/.

Good ideas; I have emailed a possible author.

The current url is as below - the problem with a site like that, however, is that this url might change at any time:

Yes it has done that a couple of times. I guess whenever they need to reorder lookups they rehash
