Xorg + fluxbox [moved]

Okay - I can't get xorg to run fluxbox. Here's what I've done..

1. installed base packages off 32-bit 0.7.2 ftp installation iso
2. added a second user
3. ran "pacman -Sy xorg hwd fluxbox gtk"
4. ran "hwd -xa"
5. switched to user I made in #2
6. changed .xinitrc from "exec wmaker" to "exec startfluxbox"

Right now, when I try running startx as the second user, it starts for a couple seconds and then crashes. Any ideas?

Yes, more information would be great. Like the output on the console after the crash / not working start.

Re: Xorg + fluxbox [moved]

Don`t forget you have to have a xinitrc in your home directory to start x.Just copy the one you have in  /etc/X11/xinit. I have exec fluxbox instead of exec startfluxbox, don`t know if it differs...

Cheers

I'm moving this topic to...

http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?p=194167

Because it seems more appropriate there.
