hi
The setup is kvm+qemu+libvirt.
I've noticed that when there is a running machine(guest type doesn't matter) during a laptop going to sleep, the restore from the sleep is sort of "painful". It completely messes up the host machine's CPU - $top show 200% util(qemu-system-x86 proc). It doesn't freeze completely, but host goes super laggy for at least next 10 minutes.
I can't recall that this was happening all the time, I think it's started after some updates probably a month or more ago ...
The solution to this is to shut down all the guests before going to sleep if you don't want to wait 10-15 minute till host is usable again after restore from the sleep.
Has anyone experienced the same ?
