[Solved] How to remove black border in grub's background image?

I installed Vimix grub theme, when grub starts there is a black border at the left of the screen.

This is how i installed the theme:

git clone https://github.com/vinceliuice/grub2-themes
cd grub2-themes/
sudo ./install.sh -v -w

This is how grub looks like (sorry for bad quality):

Re: [Solved] How to remove black border in grub's background image?

Maybe its missing

GRUB_GFXMODE=[height]x[width]x32

as explained in README.

I use Archxion/theme designed for 1024x768 resolution and in /etc/default/grub

/GRUB_GFXMODE="1024x768x32"

Re: [Solved] How to remove black border in grub's background image?

Hi, thanks for answering

I tried:

GRUB_GFXMODE="1920x1080x32"

But nothing happen, at first i thought the problem was that grub won't change resolution, so i tried:

GRUB_GFXMODE="640x480x32"

The font and icons size changed but the border and the background image remains the same. Is this the expected behavior?
