mate DE issues after latest update

I want to report two issues on mate desktop environment after upgrade packages by 'yay -Syu':

1. ccsm cannot start:

[arch@arch ~]$ ccsm
Gtk-Message: 10:23:29.818: Failed to load module "colorreload-gtk-module"
Gtk-Message: 10:23:29.819: Failed to load module "window-decorations-gtk-module"
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/ccsm", line 98, in <module>
    import compizconfig
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'compizconfig'

2. window list has quit unexpectedly on panel:

window list error

mate and compiz 0.9 are installed from pacman. Not sure whether it's a common issue or specific to my environment. Any other information needed?

Re: mate DE issues after latest update

Same issues here, window list and workspace switcher applets are crashing when the mouse cursor gets over the panel.

Re: mate DE issues after latest update

Checked pacman log and found python upgraded from 3.8 to 3.9. Not sure whether they are related.

This was my suspect too, because some python-related tools have crashed too

Re: mate DE issues after latest update

Same issue for me since a few days... it's really annoying.
I found a workaround by disabling the windows previews from the windows list preferences.

Disabling preview can workaround. Here is a post for tracking this issue:
