[SOLVED] DvD

Windows has a feature called Live File System, which allows you to use DVD-RW as a flash memory. Can I use these features in Arch Linux? I think it would be convenient to use DVD-RW like flash memory.

LFS is a variation (rebrand) of UDF, https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ … s/udf.html which allows incremental writing.
Also https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Op … ing_DVD-RW

It is NOT like "flash memory" in any regard at all (even though wikipedia says that, it's complete BS and like saying "by hanging a wheel on a horse you can use it like a motorcycle")

Sorry, how can I format a DVD like flash memory?
$ dvd+rw-format -force /dev/sr0
$ cdrskin -v dev=/dev/sr0 blank=format_if_needed
$ xorriso -outdev /dev/sr0 -format as_needed
Do I just follow this method? What should be put in format_if_need and format as_needed? Sorry for the rudeness.

I saw your report.  Just edit your first post and change the title to prepend [SOLVED] to the title.  You may need to shorten the title to get it to fit.
