Bluetooth mouse is stuttering, when not discovering

Hello,

I have a weird problem since 5.9.x:

Whenever I disable bluetooth discovering (scan), the mouse starts to stutter very badly. Feels like 20 Hz.
When I start discovering (either bluetoothctl or by opening blueberry) the mouse movement is smooth again.

I already tried to set the min/max interval in the /var/lib/bluetooth/.../info file - didn't help.

Mouse model is a Microsoft Surface Mobile Mouse.

Help highly appreciated smile

Re: Bluetooth mouse is stuttering, when not discovering

Could you state which particular devices (mouse, notebook, bluetooth chipset you are using), maybe the drivers do not play well together.

And of course: Have you checked the batteries

Re: Bluetooth mouse is stuttering, when not discovering

Sure:
HP Probook 440 G7 with Realtek RTL8822CE BT Adapter (0bda:b00c)
Mouse is a MS Surface Mobile Mouse (Model 1679 according to the sticker, https://www.microsoft.com/de-at/p/surfa … erviewtab)

Have of course checked new batteries (and also rechargeables) - no luck
