[SOLVED]Unable to install font for ZSH shell

Hi, I'm trying zsh shell, I follow all indication in the wiki of arch and other reference on the web but I'm not able to setup properly the font for see simbol like arrow and so on.
I'm confused.  I tryed to understand how fontconfig works but I didn't find a solution.
I'm using suckless's DWM and termite for terminal.

have you set zsh as the default shell using chsh ? also those arrows are combinations of multiple things such as zsh themes, some fonts such as nerd fonts and some terminal that is capable of showing nice things such as kitty

The font resolultion has nothing to do with the shell.
a) is your locale intact?

Which glyph "arrow" exactly do yo want to see? (utf-8 codepoint or copy and paste it into the forum)

Is this what you see or what you don't see and what do you see instad or what did you expect to see?

What's the output of

I simply install ZSH ans oh-my-zsh and I'm try the change theme.

All theme I try I see in wrong way some simbols.

Afaics, LiberationMono doesn't provide the desired glyph(s), try installing DejaVu

The pango-view output told me which font was the last resort to resolve the glyph (Liberation Mono) and looking at it (using fontforge) I could see that it doesn't provide the particular glyph.

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
