Steam fails to launch after update to mesa

After an update update to mesa last week, Steam won't launch anymore. When I try to launch

 steam-runtime 

I get

Running Steam on arch rolling 64-bit
STEAM_RUNTIME is enabled automatically
Pins up-to-date!
Can't find 'steam-runtime-check-requirements', continuing anyway

I've tried the fixes on the troubleshooting page on the wiki, such as making sure that I have all the libraries (It did run perfectly before the update), generating the english locale, running

 steam-runtime --reset

and trying to run the native runtime

 steam-native 

which gives the same error message. Of course I have been running

 sudo pacman -Syu 

to get any patches to mesa, but none of them have fixed the issue so far. Also I'm running an Amd system, so it's not an issue with nvidia driver siliness

That looks a lot more like a network issue then a mesa one.
There also was a systemd update this week, are you using systemd-networkd / systemd-resolved ?

Please post the update log from when this started.

Also I use Networkmanager and not systemd-networkd
